PrProblem with making poses , please HELP!

Post » Fri Jan 21, 2011 7:27 am

Hello!

I am trying to make some poses (one frame animations) in Blender and import them to Oblivion,
Mixed success so far. I made a few .kf-files with "Animation base file V1", cranked up the priority byte in nifscope and plugged them in to "EFGAddPose v0.4a".
Sometimes the NPC will be completely rigid (except for the eyes) sometimes the NPC will turn the head and body to look at the player, sometimes the NPC will turn once and then freeze.
As far as I can tell the outcome is pose dependent
Is it possible to set up blender/nifscope to always get a rigid body?

Cheers! Oom

edit:typo, sorry about the title.

If you're wanting to get screenshots using these, then you need to use the console command ToggleAI (TAI) on the "victim" to make them hold the pose. I don't recall if that causes any problems if you do it before the pose is added, but check the opening post of the "Screenshots of Oblivion characters" thread for tips on posing.

Thanks for the answer ghastley!
Some problem, yes. With the AI turned off the NPC will not accept the pose. Not until the AI is turned on again and then I get the unwanted movement.
The post you recommend link to a place that's big, I was not able to find anything useful, it might be there but...
I'm not trying to make a screen shot I'm trying to make a workable pose.

Cheers! Oom
