PS3 Community Customs (Wed/ 8/3)

Post » Wed Dec 07, 2011 10:04 am

I have set up games on the XBOX side for the Crysis 2 community to play in a competitive format. It has gone great the past few times we have done it and was wondering if people on the PS3 would want to do this as well.

Basically take whoever wants to play and get them in a lobby or 2 depending on the amount of people wanting to play and the select 2 captains and pick teams. Making teams more fair throughout makes for better games as well. A lot of the top XBOX players have gotten into this and it keeps the community alive. I am hoping some PS3 players would like this as well.

here is the link to the Community Customs Part 4 thread on the Xbox platform

I also record all the gameplay and put it up on youtube for everyone. If anybody on PS3 could do that as well, that would be great.

Thank you for the effort friend, but I think the PS3 community is a bit dumb when compared to the 360's :/

Community is much lower than 360. Some don't even have accs here/come here.

Pretty hard to get a nice group like in the CGs on 360.

I guess this can pass as a bump. ;)

I'd take part in this but like Pein-Lazarus says the PS3 community is really small. I wouldn't be able to organise it either I work random hours so infact it would probably even be difficult for me to take part lol. One thing I don't understand though (Hopefully i'm not being retarded) is how you would get the teams into the same lobby?

@brapski: It is do-able, we did it yesterday to quiten some Germans who thought they were better than they are. Seems to me you get the 2 leaders into private lobby, and each takes turns iviting a squad member. Not sure if this is exactly right though as my German is limited to "hello", "goodbye" and "for you zee war is ofer"

I think the main diff between xbox n ps3 comms is that you have to pay 4 xbox live meaning more dedicated gamers where as psn is free with alot more casual players only a theory though what u think ?

Well, I can understand that. In the sense that, you're paying for a service, and wouldn't want to waste the cash. So you'd use it as much as you can. Whereas, PSN is free, and you don't feel obligated to use it. On the other hand, you could say PSN should have more people playing. Since its free.

I don't think it has anything to do with casual though.

yeah i see youre point there the only other reason i can think of is that not alot of players on ps3 use headsets on cyrsis 2 meaning less comunication between players i dont know what its like on 360 so i have means of comparison
