We are aware our European customers are having bugs and other issues with the Crysis 2 Retaliation map pack on PS3. It appears these are due to an error in how the file was posted to PlayStation Network. EA and Sony are working together to resolve this as quickly as possible, and will provide a clear fix as soon as we can, to ensure you can enjoy the game properly.

We will of course post any information on this topic as and when it becomes available.

Isn't their fault, its PStore fault. Post it on their forums.

EA/Crytek needs to authorize Cry-Adam/Cry-Tom to post a topic like this.

Please let us know when this will be fixed. I am wondering if it would have been easier to include the new maps into the current rotation of MP maps. Why are we confined to your gamemodes to enjoy something we bought. I am sure the advertising states new maps across all game modes, correct? Ok then fix it. The onslaught idea is garbage, believe me. I want to go to Crash Site and vote on new maps, period.

yeah im with Evic hart australian store sold me this corrupted file as it is a file with data missing i thought 99mb was well to small myself for a map then i played the 2 maps that where playable as shipyard is like fOOKED invisible **** here and there but the amount of time should be hours not days this is why gamers are over this we all live in a time of now not later like you old fashion fooks seem to be im pissed because this is just another nail in the cross for me as i am lvl 50 with like 600 kills why you ask because my stats just vanished so im almost glad in a way to be out of this game and to move to bf3. i cant imagine your guys facial expressions when like 1 person world wide gets the dedication trophy on the ps3 because of how you **** up and screwed people with a buggy game some people love to blow smoke up your ass crytek and say there isnt issue well you know better as your making a new patch for these issues point proven the game is **** everyone i know who owns the game has an issue with it some are very much the same some arnt i read these forums to see the overall look and feel of people who play and there angry and most seem to have feel cheated because this is like a shell of a great game that got left out took long and went Off so id say fix it but the time frame you guys are given is well to long to save this game there would want to be a patch in the next few days for ps3 and a resolve to the DLC that alot of people PAYED for so Remember if you want to make the community happy doesnt seem like you do to be hinest but if you do there would want to be a double effort to keep all the players possible as your obviously money hungry **** like EA 15 dollars for a map pack when im thinking gamers are all Equal and wouldnt you know nope gotta steal some money right the exchange rate would map the maps cheaper in my country then many others yet i pay top dollar thats a **** joke heres a pro tip free map packs could instil loyalty not distrust and build faith in your company and would even give you some breathing room on **** ups Free online is what saved ps3 from not dieing out think before you act idk seems a 23 yr old shouldnt need to type this but it also seems your so **** clueless that the help is like that of me being the cub scout helping an old lady cross the street becuase of how **** things are going the slow proggress sure patching is alot of work but if you hired competent testers and coders you wouldnt have this issue what did you do borrow the people who made vista and let em loose Shheeessh

For those of us that have paid for this already better be able to re-download this for free, and will all you dumb **** from the states stop say there is nothing wrong with it this is a PAL issue not a NTSC, stop and read for once.

Of course you can download it for free. Just go to purchase history and re-download it - it's back up now and corrected.

UPDATE: DLC is OK now, have just downloaded it , installed it and everything is OK. All 4 Maps are available now!!!!

PS3 empty servers, don't pay for that and listen to the community first i want to host games on my computer for free please because i have buying 2 copy of Crysis 2 on for PS3 and one for PC...THANKS

That means that you have now all 4 Maps and they are without missing Walls ect and they are visible now in the MP Menue to play them in ranked matches and if more users play online with them you should be able to join matches there.

BUT IT WOULD BE AMAZING IF EA/CRYTEC PUT THEM INTO THE RANDOM PLAYLISTS OF NORMAL RANKING GAMES TOO, SO EVERYONE WHO HAS THE NEW MAPS CAN PLAY ON THEM NOW!!!

Anyone in Europe playing these maps online yet or is it empty? I was going to get them but if you can't get a game on them there's no point really.

Wouldn't bother, mate. Finally managed to download & install new maps last night, then sat in the lobby waiting fruitlessly for other players to join the session. Managed one game on a new map over the course of an evening. Decided to give up and go back to the old maps. Pretty much every game I joined I had a single orange/yellow bar connection. Spent an hour or so unloading magazines and clips into peeps only to have them turn around and bich slap me for the kill. Gave up. Booted up Reach: Big Team Battle - 16 players maxed out on 5 green bars. Ho-hum!

I've played about 12 games yesterday evening and it took abaout 3-4 Minutes to get a new game with the new maps. Connection was not bad but not good as it could be.
There are also some bugs there, with some noises and sometimes your weapons are not visible at start of game, or your attachment is glowing white for about 30-40 seconds.....
Some glitches I've found also but do not write them here to prevent unfair usage of other gamers.........
My conclusion is: The new maps are quite good but not as good as they must be for that bulk of money they've cost.

I was thinking of purchasing DLC map pack a week ago. I'm still not sure now.

non-DLC users can't vote for Retaliation maps nor join them. Can't merge regular maps with DLC maps.

I am from germany and bought the map pack three days ago. I played two times until now, because the servers are always empty.
If I watch in store I see 106 rankings of the map pack. CoD map pack has more then 6.200 rankings.

At this moment the retaliation map pack is a big fail and do not worth. The main game has the problems alike, most of the game modes are empty.
I can play only standard instant action, standard team action and standard crash site. no pro modes or others.

Please Crytek bring the retaliation maps into the standard rotation and finally please change the minimum players per map to 2 (not 6 or more).
