PS3 is a ghosttown

I was trying to play online today around 9am. No1 was up there. I was only able a laggy game with 2 human players after 20min of searching.
I wanted to stick with the game but not this way. One step closer to sell it

I am not going to lie, it took a while to get to a good match. My team eventually filled up, so we switched to the other team just to get a good match on. However, I believe I was running in Campaign mode. It may be different running the competitive matches in Freeplay, however, the games do need to fill up and get the matchmaking together. I had a blast when everyone was together

Can you actually search for matches?

So far I've just gotten by through joining friend's matches, and there's been as many as 10 players in those games, mostly around 4.

I was looking for public freeplays.

I played on my ps3 the first day the PSN returned but the lag was terrible in freeplay. Co-op campaign was better.

Until they patch the lag problem, Im staying offline or online with other games.

The game is a legfest online so alot of people are shying away from it. When I was playing it the game was fun enough but too difficult to play in and not enough ways to customize your match either. I bet this game is easily forgotten to be honest, another example of a game that had alot of promise and failed to deliver. Not enough really stands out and all that jazz about the customization and the class system was overhyped.

I can't imagine myself forgetting anything that happens in these matches. They are filled with so much crazy stuff and strategic changes that create intricate stories. Sometimes the defense portion can get long, but sometimes war is about attrition.

Dont sell the game because if that. I was going through the same thing. I would enter and exit matches because lag was crazy or I just could not find enough human players. Here is how i got around it. If your connection is solid like mine is, go to multiplayer and pray that you are the only human player in that game. If you are then that pretty much guarantees that you are the host for that game. If you just wait patiently, people will start joining in little by little. Last night i started playing by myself and after the third game the game was almost full of actual people!! it was brink at its best!! And second, im sure the devs are working on patchingin a lobby system so just give brink some time.

Try campaign, or try 5v5 if you haven't instead if standard. I personally don't have PS3 but it's worth a try.

I would think that it's not only Brink itself, but the fact that the PSN isn't fully up and functional yet. I haven't gone online myself mostly because I'm waiting for everything to be up to 100% again. Might give 5v5 a try this weekend.

Got the game (PS3) two days before european release xD
was well happy then, but now that PSN is back up, i get stuck with bots like 90% of the time.
when i finally got in my first full MP game, we just got spawnraqed MW2 style, so i left the match after few min.

LFG for any type of gametype, ussually play engineer or medic,
playing around 7-10pm GMT+1.

Was on the map where u have 2 get the nav computah (as the dude says it in game, i lol'd) Resort?
you can run up the stairs 2 make a MG nest, theres a walkway right infront (with a gab between) and to the left of the MG,
both lead to the supply command post,
cant shoot through the glass near the CP and there was a sniper there
and he walkway was perfect distance for throwing molotov and nades.
so everytime we left the spawn we got a nade/molotov and then a few sniper rounds.

ill add u 2night, at work experience atm, yes fail...

Spawn Turrets only stop people from getting INTO your spawn and firing on you the second you appear. They can still wait to catch you as you round the first corner in a lot of cases (ie. CCity).
