PS3 HDTV setup for Crysis 2

Hello everyone,

It is VERY important to have your HDTV set up properly for thiss game. Like many other people I had crappy graphics on MP but after adjusting it looks very good on retail.

1. Resolution 720p, yes you read it right.
2. Absolutely NO upscaling whatsoever, NONE.
3. No PS3 edge enhancement it interfers with internal engine.
4. RGB enhancement LIMITED even if you TV supports it, mine does and yet it looks worse on.
5. No superwhite, this games lightings effects makes it look overglow, unless you wanna play with sunglasses.
6. No tv edge enhancement if you have that.

Brightness etc is better setup with a good picture that is bright and have many rich colors FOR this game, AC Brotherhood wallpaper with Ezio on PSN is a good reference.

It looks much much better now, rare jaggies and blurry textures.

lol a CONSOLE game that require we tweak our console/tv for the game to look less crappy. That's ridiculous. If I wanted to fight with my machine each time I get a new game I would buy a PC.

I want to ask for resolution settings. I've tried to set resolution on my ps3 for the select 720p or 1080p but it shows already selected 720p,1080,1080p automatically and I don't think need to set 720p because when I play a 720p resolution game it has already selected on 720p, and when I play a 1080p resolution game (GT5) it has already selected 1080p. I think don't need to set it manually.

Fact of life with HDTV, they require calibration wether it is games or movies.

I have been able to play the game on 720p and 1080p. If I select only 1080p and deselect everything except for 576p ofcourse then it shows 1080p
