PS3 Patch Notes

Good for the patch coming out but the bad news of it is the freezing may not been solved. So expect freezing.
Gstaff I hoping a no freezing patch is coming soon.

Also wondering that if the Abanndon BoS safe house is still locked with this patch?

Joey

Since the "freezing" issue is even less consistent than the DLC glitch, I don't think there'll be much they can do there. Some people report freezing every 5 minutes, some every 40 hours, some no more than once or twice ever. Very inconsistent.

I have a feeling they meant to lock the Abandoned BoS Safe House originally and did so in the patch. I'm betting it is part of some planned DLC at some point.

It's part of the first DLC Dead Money because there are Sierra Madre posters on the wall in there and that's the new location Dead Money will add.
Here is what The Vault wiki has to say about this bunker.

"The bunker was locked in patch 1.01. It is unknown if this was on purpose or a mistake. Given that there is no key in the G.E.C.K for PC and this location contains an important item, it is likely that it was a mistake. To access the bunker in an alternate way, simply open the console, click on the bunker entrance, and type "UnLock". This will unlock the sewer door and allow access.

It is possible to enter if the game cache is deleted in your console. The patch will be gone and Dean's Electronics can be acquired. Then simply reinstall the patch. (XBOX 360) Beware, after doing this and continuing with your post-patch game, you will lose the dialogue option to send your companions to the Lucky 38. Tested on 360 - saved before disabling patch and saved after looting Dean's Electronics and reinstalling the patch. Then talked to companion on first save, option was available, tried on second save (after reinstalling) and it was no longer available.

On PS3 it is possible to enter by deleting your game data via Game Data Utility and turning off Internet Connection in Settings. Get the Book. Turn Internet back on and restart the game to reinstall the patch.

There's probably a correlation between the "Sierra Madre" posters and graffiti and the upcoming Dead Money DLC, suggesting the possible presence of a Brotherhood of Steel chapter. Possibly Elijah,a former Brotherhood of Steel elder, left those marks. It was most likely locked in patch 1.01 so as not to give away anything about the upcoming DLC"

Looked through the list and see that most bugs are being fixed. Two annoying bugs for me were the "arms going over your head so you cant see" bug and the "more you play the slower the framerate gets" issue.
The first is just really annoying but the second is really a game wrecking bug! Anyone know if they are sorting these as they were on the bug list posted in here?

I hope the Northern Passage is also part of some future DLC. It seems strange to have a collapsed tunnel as a place that you can Fast-Travel to.

I'm sooo sick of checking this forum every day to see what the status of the update is. Been doing it for months. I honestly don't think I'll believe it when it finally arrives. After all this I can't actually convince myself we're getting it tomorrow. I think the Wii will get it before us 360 players.

ALL I care about at this point is the DLC glitch being fixed so I can play a character as long as I want without suddenly not being able to play that character ever again.

Once we finally do get it you won't see me for at least a few months. I'm so burned out on this forum I seriously need to not visit it for a long time, but I will until we get this mythical update.

I feel like this is Christmas Eve but I'm not sure if Santa is real anymore...
