PS3 PEOPLE GET MICS

Post » Thu Apr 07, 2011 8:10 am

I don't have a mic and always thought it was stupid because when they first came out they were a piece of sh- crap and I returned it the same day. The other day however I was playing BFBC2 and all my squad members had mics and for the first time I was able to play the game the way it was meant to be played instead of camping somewhere with a sniper racking up kills it was much more satisfying to work with my squad, have lower deaths and support them and actually work together. BFBC2 is a team based game if people want to do really well so in that regard it is very similar to BRINK so in preparation for BRINK I would like other people to get mics as well seeing as most people don't have them and it so much more fun to play games like this when you can actually talk to other and work together properly people.

Tactical or squad-based games are a LOT of fun when you are with a bunch of people with mics, especially when you start getting into casual clans. Definitely a good way to go.

Try Homefront, I haven't been in a single match where people didn't have mics. And yes, Teamwork > Lone Wolf

I want to, but I'm stretched for cash at the moment and games are marked-up to stupidly high prices down under. It has dedicated servers, right? Reckon it will be a good game to keep one occupied until Brink comes out, if they're currently grinding through CoD4 from lack of anything else?

Yes?

Speaking of Crysis, anyone else have a little fun with the multiplayer demo?
To me it seemed like a of a mix of Brink, COD, and Killzone.

I started playing, saw a guy, got shot, respawned, went looking for people, saw another guy, got shot again, and decided to get back on Halo. The whole pop pop dead thing really isn't my style. It took me a while to even get interested in Brink because I thought it had that same formula.

OT: Yeah, shooting games in general are a lot more fun when people have mics. It can win games, with a teammate telling you to turn around because there's a guy coming up on the rear, to helping eachother get kills, by telling one member to throw a grenade to make them take cover while you rush in with the sword...

TRUTH.

I plan on joining a clan week one. I really hope the clan features are up to scratch.
