Ps3 redeemable codes

Post » Wed Sep 01, 2010 9:09 am

Alright I definitely know this has been discussed before, forgive me for asking one more time, but can anyone tell me what the legitimate code on my receipt from Gamestop is? Like where is this thing located at? That's all I'm asking. Any help without some smarmy comment is appreciated, and if you're another ps3 gamer and want someone to play with, add the username.

The code should be on a paper..thing, on the inside of your game case IF you got the preorder. if you just bought it from the store there is no preorder bonus. my psn is in my sig, feel free to add me. tho i won't be on much until my main ps3 is fixed cause my ps3 slim has crappy internet connection so its hard to get on.

When I got mine it had a little card in it with "spec ops pre-order bonus" on it, and with instructions.

I found it guys, check the "online stats" tab and there should be instructions to go to the official website and a mixed character code for you to enter.

I don't think that's it. Gamestop will be sending them out once the PSN Store is back up.

Same thing happened to me Arch, so I suppose I'll just be checking my email whenever the store comes back up for us.

So do we have to enter our pre-order codes into http://www.brinkthegame.com/redeem? Where do we enter the online stats code? I'm getting lost. ._.

That is NOT it, that is for your gaming stats.

The above post is the correct place.

Put your code in there and you will recieve an email with the vaild code, put that code into the playstation store and download the pre-order pack.

I know, that's basically what I was getting at with this entire thread. "How do I get my code for my pre-order pack and where do I do it at?" But that's how I figured all that out, I found the code to send to Brink and now we all just have to wait for the playstation store to come back up, whenever that is.

The code for your stats go into a diffrent place, that link is for anyone who got an pre-order bonus code. Apperantly they had problems generating correct codes since psn was down, so anyone with a code can redeem it on brinkthegame.com

If you don't have a code then you did not pre-order it, or you got ripped off.

The code should be INSIDE your game case, it is a little paper slip with the code on it.

Well I pre-ordered from Amazon, and I didn't get anything :P BUT I did enter the code off 'online stats' and it did say that my pre-order code will be sent to me through my email o.O

So yeah, it worked for me o.O

:P Anyway, I didn't really want the pre-order that badly anyway, Amazon was just being nice and giving me $20 off and $0 for release day shipping so I just bought it from there :D

if you read the receipt, you will see that GameStop isn't giving out pre-order codes for PS3 until they are satisfied with the restoration of PSN.
i think they mean when the PS Store comes back online, as you would need PSS to redeem the codes. So wait for PSS and then GameStop will either e-mail you the codes or contact you with details on how to get said codes.

If you missed out on them, there is a very good chance that they'll all be released later as DLC anyway. Most pre-order bonuses these days just tend to be advance releases of in-game content to come later.

Hope they don't tho.

The pre-order bonus is like a "Hey! Thanks for supporting our game before we even release it! Heres something cool only our devoted fans get! Enjoy!"
Making it a DLC later on is like "Hey, remember that cool exclusive thing you got? Well check this out, were handing it out to everyone else! Isn't that great?"

So yeah, hoping they don't.

BTW Do non-pre-order games come with the cover over the game case?

Off the top of my head, pretty sure BC2, Homefront, MoH and MAG all offered pre-order "bonuses" that were just unlocked early or later added. I hope they do tbh, I was torn between Spec Ops and Psycho. I'd probably even pay.

Yea, alot of games give them as a DLC later on, but still, personally i would like if they kept it exclusive. But hey, it's there choice to make it as a DLC and make a profit. I just like feeling special with something others don't have or can access :3

Tho....i would like that awesome revolver from the psycho pack....

They might, and they might not, alot of game devs do it, but SD isn't just another game developer are they? :D
If they gave pre-order people something small like an exclusive T-Shirt ingame or something like that, i wouldn't mind if they made all the other things a DLC later on.
