Hello, I am new to this site. It looks great and I look forward to all the great content it has to offer.

I am part of the staff on www.ps3trophies.com and was wondering if anyone had concrete information on the trophy list for the Playstation 3 and the trophy values. I see that the achievement list is out and confirmed and us PS3'ers feel left out! We would love to post the trophy list on our website and create some more buzz for the game (if that's even possible) on the PS3 side.

A trophy list would be greatly appreciated! Thanks.

No they don't quite work that way unfortunately. I wish it did. Also the trophies include a Platinum trophy that is distinct and unique to PS3 for getting all other trophies. There are many gamer point values for Xbox 360 (i.e. 10, 15, 20, 30, 50, etc.) and for PS3 there are only bronze, silver, gold...so trying to convert them is a guess at best.

Yes it will most likely be exactly the same with the addition of the platinum. I've seen many achievement lists, and compared to trophy lists for the same games, they're identical, aside from the platinum. Converting to Bronze, Silver, Gold. . . that is a bit harder.

Well it would be nice, as I am a PS3 only gamer myself and have a grudge against Microsoft. And Apple, but that's a different story. But I doubt we'll get it. I bet we'll be left out in the cold (literally and figuratively) until after launch. Generally how it is. Sad I know. Stupid Xbox steals all the buzz from us.

It's a shame so many companies do the same thing. They release the achievements months ahead of time, and trophies don't get released until almost near release. I'm not sure who makes these decisions, but they should reconsider. It would be nice if we could see the trophy values for Skyrim. The achievements are already out so I don't understand the secrecy.

Not gonna happen. They couldn't care less about the PS3. It's quite obvious at this point really.

On PS3, they must do a 1140-1230 points list with only 15 points (bronze), 30 points (silver) and 90 points (gold), and of course, the platinum (which is worth 180 points). Usually, the developers make their achievements first on the 360, as it gives them more flexibility, then they "convert" it to the PS3, as it's more restrictive.

Just at a glance, it looks like there are too many golds in there, but I'll do the math...

So for your list posted:

Bronze = 32
Silver = 12
Gold = 6
Platinum = 1

In Point Value:

Bronze = 480
Silver = 360
Gold = 540
Platinum = 180

Total = 1560

I like the idea of trophies in some games--such as the trophy for not killing ANYONE (except bosses) in DE HR, but only in instances where it is actually a challenge to achieve them. Does anyone else think that BGS should create some really crazy difficult trophies to achieve? I mean like really impossible tasks-like slaying four dragons at once, etc.

I've updated it, now it has 33 bronze, 14 silver, and 4 gold

Yeah I appreciate trying to guess it out but I'd like to have something official. Do the developers or moderators that could run this up the flag pole ever interject on these threads?

It's the same thing! How much are you PS3 people going to do this? Hope it isint till skyrim comes out.

Let's keep the fighting out of this thread, I'm tired of every PS3 thread becoming a whinefest by PS3 players with no patience, and a trollfest by those who don't like the PS3/Consoles.

Bethesda cares about the PS3 version, otherwise they wouldn't bother making it in the first place. The reason we're not seeing a whole lot of info on it, much like the PC guys, is because Microsoft offers cash up front to multi-platform developers to showcase the game on their system, and in some cases they offer even more to use their system as the lead platform.

Thief is now bronze (it's usually to have to pickpocket things, and we reach 50 very soon)

Expert->Bronze (Easier levelling)
Hero of the People->Bronze (Seems easy)

I think it would be like this, maybe one or two more bronze.

I apologize if this is a redundant thread. We are just excited to get some solid information, not to create any controversy within the forum base. We have a lot of folks now monitoring this thread hoping someone can give us more official details!

Obviously you're missing the point. We would like trophy values, much like how the achievements list how many gamer points each achievement nets you.

Why does eveyone hate the people who play it on ps3? PC people just hate consoles in general and XBox players hate ps3... ps3 people don't hate xbox... sure we say out system is better... but so do you and so do PC users... why say ps3 people don't deserve anything? there are almost as many ps3 players as there are xbox players... and the only reason there are more xbox players is because that's what came out first and that was the only console system oblivion was on for a while... don't hate me because I bought a ps3 instead of an xbox... I'm pretty poor... can't afford to spend money for online access every month... That's literally the only reason y I got a ps3... that and uncharted/killzone...

Don't forget that the game will be coming out on the xbox, 360, and pc, according to Pete Hines. Never did he mention PS3.
