I'm level 8, can take off all my apparel, cast spells and they aren't using any of my magicka. Anyone else having this issue or know how to fix it? I reloaded the game but that didn't fix the issue.

Let me guess...you're using mods?

You aren't doing the Mage College are you?

I'm pretty sure there's a point during that questline that you get a mega-buff for your magic.

It's not permanent so enjoy it while it lasts.

Also to see if you've an active buff (or disease) check out your Status Effects.

Go to the Inventory and into the Magic section. Scroll down until you hit "Status Effects" and you'll see it there.

Otherwise as someone has stated above it's probably that a MOD has done exactly what it was installed to do and changed your game.
