ya i know the whole pc master race bullshit, but really i was looking at killzone 4 and it looked really nice then i though about crysis 3 (you know because I was thinking about amazing looking games lol) and i thought how cool would it be if they took that game and really tried to optimize it for the ps4?

It would look really really nice and if your going to release a crysis game on consul why not do it at the start of it's life? Now some people have already bought it on ps3 and xbox, but on top of the optimization you could throw in the dlc for the game as well and keep the 60$ price tag on it. that and it would definitely give you more of an installed user base for the new gen consuls.

i was going to upgrade my pc (i have a budget build PC) i thought well why not just keep what i have for the games that i have and buy a ps4 that's going to run all the games that are coming out for the next 8-10 years, and just upgrade when there is a game made to be played on the PC like bf3 cs go and other games as well. ( i'm going to laugh if someone says just get crysis 3 on pc, b/c then everyone will know they didn't read it all the way)

even tho the ps4 isn't going to stay as up to date as a pc can. In the the next few years i think crysis 3 will have a great spot with in the ps4 and yes even the Xbone (but no one is getting one of those) as a great looking game on consuls as well of course PC- as it all ready does. idk i'm a gamer and i love gaming on both pc and consuls alike and i find it very silly when a game only comes out on one consul or just pc, but crysis 3 is one of the games that can be put on all 3 of them like they already are( PC,PS3,Xbox360) So i hope you guys do put it on PS4 and even the Xbone, hey if you can get it out the door fast enough (without rushing it) then players will but it b/c not a lot of games are going to be out for the new consuls at the start.

I really don't think Crysis is dead, it pretty much is Crytek's only franchise. I would think the next Crysis would be entirely free to play multiplayer, maybe PC only, unless the PS4 or X-Bone will do F2P games. Also Crytek has taken a liking to Nintendo's Wii U, despite EA's distaste for Nintendo. Nintendo doesn't like how EA saturates the market. Nintendo would rather make or publish 1 game every 6 months that is solid than to throw the kitchen sink like EA. (Although sometimes what EA does is good because it gets a title out to the public without a huge backing)



TitanFall looks cool, but I want to be fast, be strong, and be invisible.
Speaking of TitanFall, I heard it's using the Source Engine. What a burn to EA lol, Valve gaining profit off of an EA game that is only being released on Origin. lol

ya i do wonder if there will be a way to put it on steam i hope so.
and homefront 2 is something that i want to see but i think it's just going to play like bf3/4 with a mix of warface, so nothing all that great other than looking good, but again same old same old gameplay. i do hope they prove me wrong but we will see. and if ea really wanted to have better pr then they would stop with the origin crap they are pulling. the only reason why i even have crysis 2 on origin and not steam is b/c it was on sale. an after putting up with origin's bull i really wish i just bought the dam thing on steam tbh.

ya gotta say that's one of the weirdest tangents i've seen lol. it's not that they are doing things like cod, no i do think cod is fun and i thought it was cool that they are adding in those game types as well as camos. the thing i was tlking about is it comes out every year or 2. think about when we where playing bfbc2 and bf3 came out and that was really cool, same thing will happen when bc3 comes out. i really hate how more and more games are strting to do the same thing. i want a new ip you know i want some thing that ppl always thought would be fun to do but never did it. it's like halo i love halo (that's really the only reason why i even own a dam xbox) but after the shit state halo 4 was i'm like fck that, as well as it being brought out every 2 years, hell they cam out and said flat out that halo's 4 5 and 6 where going to be made.

I totally agree that Crytek probably won't continue Crysis in any way. Just to be a troll though... Next-gen consoles will will use x86-based-hardware, PCs are x86-based-hardware, and both the PS4 and XBox One will be using DX11 (OpenGL 4 in PS4's case) capable GPUs, so while porting Crysis 3 is something Crytek won't do, if they wanted to they wouldn't have to recode it from the ground up. It would mainly be tweaks and a bit of rewriting for the PS4. If the XBox One is using a runtime anything like Windows 8, I could easily see someone running the PC version of Crysis 3 on it. Don't count on it though =(
