Exclusively PC

[Though still undecided.]

PS4. Just going to be easier overall for me and less expensive to stick with a console for the next few years.

As it stands, I'm not sure if I'm interested enough to get it at all - things just don't look or sound like something to anticipate or spend money for. But if I do get it, it will be for PC.

There's no technical edge on this game, it's been stated that both run at 1080p 30fps. I think the deciding factor for the consoles is that mods are coming to Xbox first and possibly for PS4 in the future.

I'm getting it on PC and XBOX One, a total of five copies (not including the Pip-Boy pre-order) so that everyone can play it without arguments. Add my new laptop onto that as well, and this game is literally costing me a small fortune! Still worth it though :D

For me I'm viewing it as the final confirmation. If it doesn't satiate my desires, then I know that series is no longer for me.

I'd rather play it and be ultimately dissapointed than not play it and wonder (even tenuously or fleetingly).

OT:

I pre-ordered the pip boy edition for PS4, I always regretted not buying the collectors edition for Fallout 3 or New Vegas.

Though if the game completely fails I may end up selling it.

This is very reasonable. Play it and if it still disappoints, well at least you gave it a fair shake! Your expectations seem to be so low, it may even surpass them!

I have pretty much the same situation as OP. My PC is four years old and can run Skyrim on High settings with mods but I am not sure if it will be able to run Fallout 4 without some upgrades. I recently got an Xbox One. My understanding is that since I am going to be an early adopter of Windows 10, that sometime in the future, I will be able to stream my games to the PC, which would be really nice.

At this time I am leaning toward the Xbox One version ...

The only thing I'd be concerned about with the differences between the Xbox One and PS4 Versions is, if the Xbox One version will have issues keeping it's frame rate stable since it's slightly weaker then the PS4. I think either system will be fine, both should look amazing, Not Witcher 3 levels but still great.

Yeah, well... If a game clearly shows, by release, that it is made with a completely different audience and experience in mind, there's not much left to wonder. And I'm less comfortable gambling my 60€ over 'what ifs' when the odds aren't really favorable.

Not too long a wait anymore to see how it'll do in the end.

I am also of the PC Master Race and only this week decided to lash out to replace my aging PC.

I'm with you with the whole PC thing, but I'm not allowed to put down any of the consoles or my children will beat me with sticks!

I'm probably alone in this, but PS4 for me. Still kinda hoping they make mods works for PS4 though.

Don't have any platform supported for Fallout 4, but if I did, I'd be getting it on the PC. I've learned not to role the dice and hope that Bethesda's made a game that's actually stable on a console.

If I had to get it on a console, I guess I'd go with PS4. Sony's done right by me for the most part, so it's the console I'm more likely to be getting in the future. Plus, despite being 6 feet tall, I don't have the enormous hands that are required to hold an Xbox controller comfortably.

It's actually not that hard to do. A high end machine blows the Ps4 and Xbox one out of the water technically.

I took that comment to be a typo. I mean, when they were released, people were comparing them to midrange PCs, and that was what? A year and a half ago?

After much deliberation, I'm holding out for the Super Nintendo port.
