Lol, Sony is a multibillionaire company. They don’t just have one team working on one task. It’s split up. If they put it up, and its not properly prepared, they’ll get attacked by consumers, and media outlets again. If they take their time, asses the damages, repair them, and also ensure that the security has been enhanced significantly people still attack them.
They’ve offered you some nice incentives in order to try and make good with consumers a bit. I’m not disagreeing with the fact that Sony should have probably had a lot more security in place (probably). But, this is outrageous, what more do you want?
They saw potential danger, and acted immediately by shutting it down. If they had left it up, you probably would say “Why didn’t you shut it down, and fix the issue?” or something along those lines. Some say “I’ll go to Xbox”. Yes yes, because this can only happen to Sony.
This wont change the fact that you can still enjoy a huge library of games, even Crysis, till PSN is back up.
