i use to play xbl an there is no game out or comming out that is worth 60 buck to play online an idc about cross game chat or the extra stuff they got cuz most of thats is free for pc gamers an alot of games are cheaper for pc... an the ps3 has alot of stuff i enjoy for free that xbl dont have an never will like vid chat and pshome... so yeah u can defend xbl all u want but in my personal opinion sony is an always will be better

o an i currently have a wii ps3 an 360 an even with the outage i am only on my ps3

not that I'm a fanboy, but its old technology and out of date in my opinion..... PSN will be up and things will resume and compensation will be given.

there online is still free, their blu ray storage capacity is much better, and well thats it.... or someone will think Im a fanboy

In all honesty, so is the ps3. I mean compare the ps3 to the best pc out there...exactly..outdated!

the gpu in the 360 also smokes the one on the ps3. The ps3s cell smokes the 360s cpu though. Both have their pros and cons for sure though. Also, with ign and other websites deeming the 360 version of crysis 2 better, the outdated technology(in terms of ps3 vs 360) argument is irrelevant.

Have you seen gears 3's graphics? Amazing! In the end though, i play games and not graphics(i play something that i can enjoy, not something that plays like **** but looks good ex killzone 2)

U cant compare PS3 to a PC thats a different category... consoles and their gens come out different than computer or its processor or even a motherboard.


As I said not a fanboy..... but there are pros to cons on both consoles I just like the one I have... I used to have original xbox and a PS2, there's just titles on other systems that grab my eye, i go on title not system.

Nowadays usually on both, and yeah Ive seen some killer indie games on xbox store but meh cant have everything.

its all over the place, none of it is comfirmed and thats why i wont beleive it until sony say, but many threads and posts on other websites are claiming that PSN japan is back up.

Today I went to the Kill Zone forum to read what people are saying about the game since I haven't decided to buy it yet. There have been no posts since PSN went down? I know it is exclusive but really? I can't believe that they don't have a work around for stuff like this. Are there any other forums effected other than the one at PS.com?

idk...killzone 3 is a decent game at best. If you are looking for a game to really challenge you(especially online, on ps3) i would suggest you u get killzone 2. Once you master the sluggish controls, its very rewarding when you earn kills online. Killzone 3 has much tighter controls, but its a campfest with noobs and marksmen class. I traded killzone 3 back in, i still have pt 2 though

I just hope they will have PSN up and running by the 17th of may so we all can play on the new maps from the DLC...

if you are enjoying the game and feel like DLC will further enhance your experience with the game, thats cool. However, I , as a consumer, feel like crytek is not really focused on further fixing the game. In other words, i aint getting DLC for a broken ass game.

I should of rephrased my post 'so I can play on the new maps. However as a consumer who doesn't have any issues with the game, new maps will most likely enhance my gaming experience.

I fully understand, and agree, that if a person for whatever reason feels like the game is broken, they shouldn't be getting the DLC until they can enjoy the game (patches/fixes/whatever).

agreed, i looked at the latest patch notes and they state that they fixed some host migration issues along with some networking issues. So holy shat!! there is still hope!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1. As much as i want to believe its lag that they somewhat fixed though, i feel that it may just have to do with people being unable to connect and getting kicked all the time from a game etc ... we will see once psn gets back online!
