I doubt it's them. They would be bragging about it and not saying that they didn't do it. Just Sony being Sony.

Just Sony being Sony.

What exactly does that mean?

Japan (home of Sony) has just suffered an earthquake, tsunami and ongoing nuclear crisis resulting in deaths of 1000's and your all complaining about not being able to waste your lives away this weekend... Sad.

So just because people are upset they can't play on PSN, that means they don't care about the unrelated crisis at all. Give me a break.

Well honestly, no one seems to realize that Sony and the rest of Japan probably have bigger things to worry about than your weekend entertainment.

Everyone realizes that, doesn't mean we need to spend all our time weeping and mourning while they are doing their best to fix the damage.

Sony is a business, and their responsibility is to provide a service. They're not going to shut down the country because of a crisis.

I realize Sony's business goal is to provide gamers quality gaming experience with as little interruptions as possible. But people should take the time to think that 1 week of zero online gaming is nothing in comparison to decades of rebuilding and moving on with life.

Okay?

So because there are worse things in the world, you can't be annoyed at anything? Why are you here, then? How can you sit there complaining on a message board, when ten thousand people have died? Don't you think that's more important?

You do realise the servers in question are located in Amazon's centre in North Virginia right? Has there been a tsunami there recently?

I really doubt that one post on a video games board is enough proof to say that Anonymous is behind it.

Well, look at it this way. This is a good time to plug in the good ol PS'2's, Gamecubes, N64's, and roll through some classics.

By the time PSN is back up, you would've saved up enough to buy a 360 anyway. :P

Or in my case replay those 6 demos I downloaded like right before the PSN went down. :P
