Some hacker *bleepz0rz* are mad @ Sony. Basically a group of Anons are trying to get back at Sony for "hurting the people" by... taking down every ps3 users online for a couple days.

What a way to make them on your side right? :tops:

Hopefully by the end of tonight or tomorrow. It shouldn't be too much longer at all.

They have denied taking down the PSN. They said its against their goals to harm the people like that. Usually the Anons brag everywhere when a service is taken down, and they have denied it on Twitter and on their IRC.

Also this could be in the existing thread on it. http://www.gamesas.com/index.php?/topic/1181612-playstation-network-down/

Maintenance? Nope that is not the case otherwise they could have sent an email to everyone to warn them ahead of time, espically if it was going to be down for 2 days or more.

It's something else, but Sony will not admit to it. My guess is the system crashed and Sony doesn't know how to fix it yet.

I love it how these always turn into a PS3 vs 360 thread.
I also love it how people have been saying it wont be down for that much longer for 2 days now.
I really love it how Sony is so quite.

I've been playing Fallout 3 on PC this week and didn't even know it was down. Well, I'm not going to be playing RDR aby time soon.

It scares me a little i wouldn't be surprised if it's down for a week then the apocalypse would really start my psn jamieb147 if we manage to survive :( .

It's a "she", tyvm. Her name is Betty. And she's not hot due to melting, but due to the fact that she and I play all night long. ;)

I haven't been on my PS3 since Thursday, so I haven't tried signing in since the PSN went down. It's still not working? Is this the longest outage ever?

Sadly she probably will, I just lost my second one the other day. And just before the new patch comes out to.
