PSN out of the way, what about Xbox Live? : Fallout: New Vegas

I had an update today on the 360. I take it that this is the patch.

No, the hard drive cache on the 360 is about 16MB or so. And each update is about 4MB, so if you updated games prior to New Vegas the cache will clear space for that update.

Say if I put in GTA IV and was prompted for an update and the the 4th most recent game I had in was Left 4 Dead. Than the update for Left 4 Dead would be dumped because I just added a new game to that line up. If you look at the dashboard you'll see it shows the 4 most recent games you have played. That actually has relevance towards which games are 100% ready to be played with no update required.

ok what makes north america diffrent from the rest of the planet do they have a psn that works no it all down and yet they got it so this information is wrong

Actually, that information is correct. North America will receive the patch first on PSN, regardless of the network's status. Those outside North America, will get the patch at a later date. According to Jason's Bergman's post.

wait, those of us with 360's actually have to wait for something others already have? NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! lol, seriously though that's a little odd...we always either get stuff at the same time or first, then again I've heard that MS has a long process where they check everything that goes through xbl, marketplace or similar, so I guess its them holding it back. oh well, probably for the best so I'm not distracted by HH b4 my class finals.

Actually people in Europe for PS3 don't have the patch and were not last :celebration:

as of 6:30 pm eastern standard, the xbox patch is still not live..... also.... can we pleeeeeeeeeeeease get an honest hearts trailer? waiting for announcements regarding upcoming dlc(revealed 4 months ago mind you) is almost as fun as watching the grass grow....

I'm going to bed soon but I figured I'd see if the 360 patch launched yet.

3:30 here in the US Midwest and no update. The patch will probably launch at 5-6 AM. It's around that time when arcade games, dlc and the like releases so maybe the patch will follow the same timeline. I don't know what that entails for outside the US but hopefully us eager 360 and PS3 owners outside the US get it soon.

11am thur 28 patch out on 360 in uk
