I don't have a PS3, but I know a lot of stuff is going on with it. Someone hacked into the system and its been down for more than 2 weeks know.
I'm guessing it will be down even after brink comes out.

I remember getting a memo notice from Sony, and I believe it is back up. Do not have my PS3 anymore though to verify

sony shut it down to protect users from "an outside intrusion", they say it will be up by the end of this week. No ones holding there breath though, they have said it would be up soon since it went down.

If I'm not mistaken, the PSN will be back up tomorrow. Regardless, I'm pissed, but less at Sony than the hackers. This could have happened to any gaming network, and we were just the unfortunate casualties.

Actually they did, was a copy of the same memo they posted on their blog

I hope so, I want every used in the forum to experience BRINK when it comes out on the 10th (or 13th, respectively) to its fullest.

Where do you see them saying they are sending an email, i see them saying we will not contact you in any way, don't think they would contradict themselves in the same article

It hasnt been down for over 2 weeks. Its only been offline for 8 or 9 days i think, not more than 9. Supposed to be up by the end of the week they were aiming to have it up by thursday but that didnt happen. They did fix the servers they are just turning regions on one by one. Japan was first and US should be up and running by the end of the week. If not hopefully monday at the latest /fingerzcrossed

PSN was supposed to be up on Tuesday March 3rd. Then they said 'by the end of week' if it is not up by tomorrow, then i will be pissed. I wont sell by PS3, because i love playstation and always have, but Sony better get thier a** in gear. all investigations into sony has revealed that they failed to update their security, and thus are responsible for all of this, the stupid money-grubbing corporate sons-of-a-b******

I meant about that same memo in the link. Never said it was a memo stating it was up. Just said I remembered recieving a memo from PSN. I had to look at it and realized it was the "hey our **** got ****** up, check your credit" >.> should have mentioned that part instead of just linking the blog. My apologies.

FRANKY!!! We PS3 players need you to send your super pony army to find the hackers and prevent them from messing with the PS network again.
