Pulling a sickie

Post » Sat May 28, 2011 12:29 pm

My education is way too important for me to pass on for a game, no matter what the game is.

I am a sophomore in highschool, and I am already taking college classes, in the 2nd best high school in the nation, and I am skipping when it comes out

I'll be a senior in high school, and will have some 'strange illness' that day for sure. But I'll only have 3 classes so it's no biggie.

That would make the release of that game EVEN BETTER if I could get it and just start playing without worrying about anything. As far as Im concerned though, I doubt it

As much as I'd love to, methinks I shouldn't be skipping classes during my first year of college. We shall see . . . stupid education. :P

I have already requested that week off as one of my two vacations. I get two vacations because I am a department head. :D

Why don't we all just kill ourselves now, go to Heaven, and since we can do anything in Heaven, we could play Skyrim right then and there.

P.S. Please people don't take me seriously. But that is the only way you could play it right now.

I am tired - tell me I'm not the only one who read it as "Pulling a sickle" and wondering why someone would want that type of weapon in the game. Anyways... no, I'll play the game when I can get my hands on it, but won't take any time off just to devote to it.

I'll be working that day
We aren't allowed to request off any days in November or December at my work and I won't pretend to be sick for a game.

Isn't that remembrance/ veteran's day? Aka a National Holiday?
So I get a day off anyway.

I will quit my job and sell my car, living off the money from the sale of my vehicle while cramming as many hours as possible into skyrim before being evicted from my home, it won't matter at that point, my life will be complete.

I suffer from a terrible disease called Skyrimitis. It is highly contagious and I must be quarantined. Symptoms include delusions and hallucinations, such as: The ability to wield magic; Dragons; and the belief that one is a "Dragonborn". Other symptoms include being highly aggressive, a kleptomaniac, and the belief that invisible clothing exists.

I'm going to arrange my schedule so that I have some spare time around release date, I'm a partner in a small firm and being ones own boss has its advantages (better to reign in hell than to serve in heaven).

I won't be telling clients why their work will be getting turned around quicker than normal in late October-early November, it would sound a bit silly. So I guess I will pull a sickie in a sense and inform the office I'm at home with swine flu.

It comes out on a Friday, I can wait until I get home.

You should add an option like that.

I might play it before I leave though.

Fool boy - you are displaying a remarkable lack of school spirit, there.

My high school was the best high school. Ever. In the universe!

Now, with regard to skipping a day of whatever when Skyrim's out... it'll be the 12th of November here, so that's going to be a Saturday. The Saturday that marks the beginning of my examination study week. Hmmmm... choices, choices.

It comes out on a Friday. I'll go to school all hyped-up and then go down a pick it up on the way home. Then I'll play it all weekend... That'll be enough to begin with.

As much as I'd love to do that, I think I'd just end up following the "path of righteousness".

I read the title as "Pulling a sickle" and was prepared to raise you a hammer in response. Alas, how I am mistaken.

Already booked as a holiday. Non-perishables and other essentials stocked in case of the following but not limited to: sudden quarantine, exile, Blizzarding (both kinds), zombie apocalypse, general cause for concern and/or mass panic. Preparedness has finally been achieved.
