Purple boulders and weapons

Some boulders and weapons have turned purple lately. Probably caused by a mod but I don't know which one.

Can somebody tell me how to get rid of this?

You broke your textures, the only fix I know is unpack your BSA.

You did not install a mod properly. The textures are missing... Do not unpack your BSA. That is completely unnecessary.


Edit: I didn't even look over your load order. Remove the SL debug plugin. Remove the Compass-Disable plugins or only use the "both" version. You need to delete that version of MMM you have and upgrade it. You also need to upgrade OOO. You have misinstalled a bunch of mods.

Edit: All of the capes and cloaks are merged into OOO. Remove that plugin, unless you want the items available in stores. I think that that other MD Saddlebags plugin is a replacer for the original file. Check the ReadMe.

Know about the streamline thing didnt see the right .esp first but that is fixed now. Know that MMM needs updating but it hasnt been an issue yet. The old saddlebad .esp not needed? Just need the new patched one? The compass-disable plugins just sits there none of them are activated. Also is MMM easier to install now than before? Remember i needed to modify all kinds of [censored] to get it working when I installed FCOM. Had to follow some guide to the letter, failed 3 times i remember.

You can try the guide I linked then, but you have to upgrade MMM and OOO if you want the latest FCOM to work properly. Otherwise, I have fun with the pink boulders... Make sure you have BSA Redirection set in OBMM (Utilities > Archive invalidation.)


Edit: 46 Francesco's 10 days respawn time - 1-20 day lenght rescale.esp <-- remove this and use the equivalent bashed patch tweak

BSA redirection checked, checking the guide now. Got OMOD of all large FCOM mods exept MMM, so I guess that would be the best and easiest way to go.

Your OOO and MMM setup should be working, it's just not updated. HOWEVER, you do have a mismatch in your OOO. 1.34 on the ESM and 1.33 on the ESP. You have to at least fix that.

Updating the rest is definitely recommended, but if you didn't install with OBMM or BAIN you may want to wait a couple of weeks for the next batch of releases. That will save you from having to update twice.

Your compass mods are definitely active. If they weren't, they wouldn't have load order numbers.

edit: Oblivion XP is fine with OOO, but you may not get ALL the possible XP you could. Oblivion XP - OOO.esp turns out to be deprecated. It's functionality is included in the 4.1.5 release of Oblivion XP.

MMM is three download now the BSA, the esm/esp and omod installer. With the omod installer it is pretty easy to install..

FCOM still requires seperate install, There is also a FCOM Omod installer it does make things a little bit simplier for FCOM.

Last Bash has features that make FCOM work better. It handles Tagging of Mods along with BOSS (for Sorting Load order ) You pretty much just need to select things in bashed patched. and build and play and hope it works.

I am not sure that those compass mods work either. Disable those markers through the bashed patch instead.

Do not skip anything. You need the right version too. From what I can see, you need to at least update FCOM, UFCOM, MMM 3.7b3 and OOO 1.34b5...

Probably won't update all, I'm too lazy :snoring: And I hate having to update everything all the time. Haven't played for about 6 months now. Maybe I'll have it all updated by the end of the summer :D

Just update OOO to 1.34b5. It's just a matter of extracting the files into you DATA folder.

If you still have the problem, look into getting FormID Finder or Refscope. They'll give you details of the object and let you find the errors much easier.

I think FCOM is worth updating if you are going to use it, but you may want to wait for the next update, as was mentioned earlier.

Ok, it's 1.0 soon isnt it? Guess that would make it easier than when I installed it. Also how do I update MMM? Can only find OMOD version, isnt there a manual version where I can just overwrite old files? Have a suspicion that FCOM will crash if I do it in any other way..

No. You should use the OMOD with the MMM OMOD installer. There are instruction in step two for the OBMM track. I do not know about 1.0 coming out soon, I was referring to the next UFCOM/MMM update. You are not just updating MMM. You have to do a clean upgrade. Remove the previous version of MMM entirely.

But you just can't install MMM 3.7b3 into you config has it. You would have to uninstall MMM completely first and reinstall MMM 3.7b3 and 3.7 bsa once again. Because of bsa itself, it is not backward compatible, nor are the 3.7b3 esm / esp per say. And if Using FCOM then you have to upgrade to UFCOM once again.

I also am having problems.read me says "fcom should be installed after mmm", but if you remove your fcom install the omod says "you must have fcom installed for script to work".Then after install summoned atronachs dont appear!you can hear them and crosshair says they are there but they are invisible!Also summoned dremora just fall down and blink?is this compatible w/fcom 9.9 or has that been updated as well.I am glad i made omod,i ussually manual install then bash patch. Removing mmm3.7b1 took 6 hours manually!

All the other mods are more or less fine but MMM is all over the place.

It is also fairly simple to install the OMOD version of MMM 3.7b1 with OBMM (which you may have to do twice thanks to OBMM's sensitivities) and then uninstall it (then delete it), and everything will be fine.

You have to create an OMOD out of the version of MMM you currently have installed, and then use OBMM to install and uninstall it. Afterward, you need to install MMM 3.7b3 (following the steps on the MMM omod Installer Nexus page.)

Do you not have the MMM 3.55 and 3.7b1 archives anymore? If you do not, go the TES4Files route. You really need to clean out the old MMM files.
