okay for one thread can we forget about all the bs everyone loves to complain about and share with each other our favorite guns and mods.
im getting extremely sick of everyones complaints, i love this game!.
the addition of mods for weapons makes my [censored] tingle. well it would if i had a [censored].

the first page is filled with complaint threads and id just like to have some decent discussion with anyone out there that still loves this game.


in regards to the topic, my fav gun atm would have to be the hunting rifle. with scope. it does a decent amount of damage and is very accurate.
i think id have a different favorite being the trail carbine however i haven't been able to find any mods for it yet and id die if i found a scope for that bad boy.

the laser rifle with scope and beam splitter thing that increases the damage by 30% is pretty cool although my energy wep is so low i wouldn't sand a chance if i tried to use it in combat.

let me know if you have been able to enjoy the game enough to decide on a favorite weapon.

I really enjoy the lever action shotgun, I use the slug round and have the shotgun surgeon perk so it pretty much annihilates everything, and it goes well with thump-thump.

I don't know, I really enjoy using that perk that jury rigs to repair, some of the pairings are laughable (In a funny way to me)

Do not know why people are complaining they announce it would be steam long ago
plus you can get patches updates DLC much easier

Glitches

Fallout 3 had em not as bad maybe but still had em they got the patches out petty quick though
for and open world game like this it's to be expected add thait is the infamous Bethesda engine

I love my 9mm submachine gun as well as That Gun.

Cowboy Repeater with higher firing rate, it's my baby, saved my rectum while killing the 'demons'

i lost my that gun. just randomly disappeared. lol. but i dont rly care as it didnt do enough damge for me anyway.
anyone know if there is such thing as archii amo or something. its used for this special gun i picked up of a kid running round in freeside cant remember the name right now its stored in novac.
just curious if there's actually amo for it or not.

Sure it doesn't have much of a direct damage but the damage over time is awesome.

I noticed probably the most gamebreaking bug yet. If you have varming rifle equipped, not drawn out, and you 'aim' (more like a zoom), a thin black line will appear. A few millimetres thick black line will appear on the screen while you are aiming. It doesn't appear with any other weapons, and doesnt appear if you have the weapon drawn out. Have you encountered this fatal graphics bug? I might provide a screenshot when my comp gets resurrected.

Well I am in the UK so did get the game till yesterday and after install it immediately loaded the patch. So I then played for 4.5 hours straight without one crash or glitch.

I like the whole feel more than FO3.

I think if you enjoyed FO3 you will love this.

well, hi everyone , i'm from China and i did play Fallout 3 . i loved it . actually , it's the first video game i thoroughly played and i played the game like ten times .... i like the world view of it -----the apocalyptic view.

and now , i'm so glad that Bethesda Softworks released Fallout : New Vegas . for me , it's a must-play game. i think i'm so gonna love it !

I was enjoying killing Geckos and Bark Scorpions with the game issued Varmint Rifle no problem, until I ran into my first RadScorpion. Then it was FO2 all over again.


Until I bought and tricked out a .357 Magnum (longer barrel and HD Cylinder), and the RadScorps don't seem so bad anymore.

I'm currently toting around an Anti Materiel Rifle loaded with Armor Piercing rounds, does about 112 damage and pretty much ignores damage threshold. I've got Cass with me too, and she has a Riot Shotgun with slugs and does about 270 something damage per second.

I would love the lever action shotgun.. if it actually would let me shoot it immediately after reloading...

i rock a scoped hunting rifle for particularly threatening long-range encounters and a tire iron just in case, but my go-to gun is Maria, straight up. i've spent more money on 9mm rounds than anything else in this game just to keep her firing. in a million years of playing videogames it's by far the single most stylish weapon i've ever seen.
