Now that I've seen what can be done I'm downloading this.

Question: if you grab someone what stock dialog will it trigger? Stealing? I'm just curious because I want to try it on Viconia and see what happens.

All of the voice files PiiiP uses are the generic equivalents found in the vanilla game ( the voice files used in the Generic quest's dialog ). If Viconia is a dark elf, she'll end up using the vanilla dark elf voice. If she's of a custom race, she won't say anything.

Sorry if I wasn't clearer. Certain actions by NPCs will play a certain voice file. For instance, if you try to steal from Viconia she will say a specific line. If you kill someone she will say another based upon that action.

I'll download it and give it a shot. I'd like it anyway as I;m getting into decorating these days.

Well, those lines she says are a part of the topics in the generic quest (crime responses (and suchlike) for generic NPCs are found in the generic quest's crime dialog tab). In other words, if Viconia can say an action-specific line without PiiiP, she can too with it. But such dialog must be available to other NPCs as well. If you've modded Viconia speak a line when an event is triggered, she won't be able to use that voice in PiiiP. To condense: If a vanilla NPC can say those lines, she can too.

You know I'm having trouble getting the item-dropper to work, in .40 When I block and hit Z I get nothing doesn't seem to drop anything, granted this is the first time I've tried it and I'm still running a test character through the opening. Is it possible COBL's Denock arrow option is interfering? I'm doing this with nothing grabable/activatable in my way, but I think at the moment my heaviest item is that Captains Katana, I believe... hmmm. Actually I should try this on a character who is farther along.

Hmm ... you aren't the first to report such an issue. Make sure you've atleast got one while-listed item ( readMe for more details ). Your character is not related to the issue. I don't think COBL's denock arrow should be an issue either, but do try without it. Finally, enable debug mode, get ConScribe, reproduce the bug and post the console log here.

Actually finally got it to work on a character who had a Silver Bow in her Inventory, I think I just didn't have a white-listed item.

For instance; you are cleaning out a dungeon, looking for a particular treasure chest. When you finally venture upon it, you find to your dismay, that it's being guarded by a huge and rather menacing bandit. He hasn't seen you yet ? but he will ? should you consider a direct approach. A sneak attack is out of the question as he stands on an elevated platform, which can only be reached by jumping. You evaluate your options - You've got a heavy set of Dwemer boots and the "Deadly Reflexes 5"mod. A conclusion is reached - You remove the boots from your inventory and throw it within hearing distance of the bandit. The huge oaf hears the noise and gets down investigating, while you wait patiently for the right moment to pass by. The bandit reaches the noise's point of origin and looks around for the source. Not yet, you say to yourself. After a few futile seconds of searching, the "victim" abandons his attempt to locate the perpetrator of the noise and focuses his attention on the shiny set of boots at his feet. Greedily, he reaches down to pick them up; thinking about his luck ?when the moment arrives! You leap into action and trigger the DR 5 sneak attack, the dazzled NPC just looking up to see your sword coming down on his neck. A second later, his body goes limp. Five minutes after that, you happily prance out into the sun with your loot bag filled to the brim.


This mod is a masterpiece. Once installed you'll never be able to play this game right without it. Everything you made here makes so much sense and makes going back to vanilla OB a big NO-NO. What more can I say? It's a must have and I pray that the devines will keep you healty and put more free time on your hands as you sure know what to do with it, lol.

Really ? That check wouldn't return false unless OBSE isn't loaded. Are you sure you updated OBSE correctly ?

Don't worry, it turs out it's an obse error. Other mods also don't detect that obse is loaded -_-

I see. If I may, I suggest you dump your AV and get Microsoft Security Essentials. That one doesn't have any issues with OBSE.

With PiiP:EG loaded will it avoid having to use the UOP's (UOPLampNoZGrabBountyScript) solution for the Zgrab bounty with certain lights?

; This script sets "ownership" of several lights to the player. The meshes were Havoked by the UOP so that the lamp chain swings.
; If the player Z-Grabbed the lamp in an owned cell, this would result in a bounty as with moving objects in shops
; Several of the lamps changed are not used in "vanilla" but are still fixed in case they are used by mods
