I have a question, is there a known issue between Duke Patricks - Fresh Kills Now Alert The NPCs and this mod. Cuz' I'm noticing something strange when the following load order and enter Inns like Wawnet Inn or Brena Cross Inn havent looked into others. But the hand isnt Red its normal colored like I own the stuff already and the NPC's in the area call you thief if you pick stuff up with the grab key. Brand new fresh games and existing games seem to do this. Just a question... If its just me then never mind.

Load order is irrelevant, as PiiiP doesn't change any vanilla records. As for the problem itself, I have no idea what the it is ( if I understand what you've said correctly ). I suggest that you get ConScribe and reproduce the issue. Then post the contents of the console log here ( in a codebox ).

Woah :mellow: I don't see why grabbing a player-owned item triggers the vanilla crime response. Do the items show up as off-limits when you have PiiiP/DP's Fresh Kills disabled ? And would you happen to be using a mouse button as the grab control ?

Yes the items show up as off limits when DP's Fresh kills is off. Thats how I have to run it currently or it shows like I posted, as player owned. Its been a while since I played Vanilla so I'll have to check but I dont think all the items in the Wawnet inn are supposed to even be player owned.

Grab key is the Z keyboard button not the mouse. I just use the mouse to move the held item around in space no mouse buttons pressed.

See is the off-limits flag is set when running the game with PiiiP disabled and DP enabled. Meanwhile, I'll take a look at that mod and see what exactly the issue is.

With just Dp enabled Hand says its mine, Nerussa says no way punk! Maybe a "Wild Edit"?

Patience, mate :) I'm looking into the mod right now.

EDIT: From the quick look I had, I'd say it might have something to do with DP's hot-swapping of factions. That's the only effect that could affect item ownerships. It also means it has to be fixed by the source mod.

Understood, I've contacted spookyfx.com via PM since I really dont see an active thread for that mod. We'll see what happens. Thanks again for your help. In the mean time I'll continue to keep it disabled, even if it would help with immersion and my little murderous khajiit character Ja'Nural :ninja:

Okay, seen the videos and I was really amused [ by the behind pinching in particular ] and amazed [ by the black lines around objects in your game, looks cool, what's that?]
I think it looks absolutelly perfect when npc is slapping you, the animation fits, and the animation of pc holding the burning spot afterwards for a while is a great idea.
When pc slaps it's good, really, but the hit goes a bit off, it doesn't quite touch the face, would it be possible to move the 1st person hand a bit?
Anyway, it's really great and I appreciate the fulfilling of my reqz.
