Oh, I agree. I plan on getting into crafting as well at some point (I loved it in Skyrim, and it looks even better here), but for someone to buy that Epic crafted gear... we're talking a LOT of gold.

EDIT: Oh, I just realized, to be able to craft armor with "Attribute X", you have to first have gear with that Attribute and take it apart. So, you'll either have to earn enough Alliance points to get the gear, OR pay an enormous price to buy it from someone who has purchased it. Either way, you'll have to destroy said gear to "learn" said attribute.

like I said, the attribute won't be specific for that gear. it will either be one of the 8 traits you can learn for that type of armour, which you will be able to find outside of PVP. or its part of a set, in which case all you need to do is find out the location of the forge where the sets made, then you can make it yourself.

the real hard part is probably getting a hold of the honing materials in the first place to get it to epic.

set bonuses come from being crafted in a particular location

traits come from researching, and from everything i read(and seen) there are no pvp bonuses to research, so i think they must be set bonuses?

Yes, I understand it now. And what I also noticed, is that the craft-able gear can go beyond Epic (Purple) to Legendary (Orange). :ooo:

That's correct, it is from the "Set bonus". "Bastion of the Heartland Set" specifically negates 5% player damage
