No PVPPVE sets?

Post » Fri Mar 28, 2014 5:45 am

So when you do a dungeon what are the rewards? weapons?

The best armor sets are gathered from crafting then I reckon?

Isn't that a bit demotivating when you're very succesful at a raid or at pvp and you don't get any armor rewards for it?

So when I reach the cap level I have to spend time in a profession to get the best sets?

- Yes;

- Yes;

- You get armor rewards with unique enchatments that cant be crafted;

- No really, you can buy it too. When I reach level cap, I take a look on the wikis to see what gear matches with my build. After that I'll try to get it (crafting, pvping or pveing).

I think thats it.

I love the fact that there is no PvP or PVE sets and that crafting will be useful

There are some unique enchantments that won't be attainable by crafters. However, these items can still be upgraded by a crafter. There are also set pieces that can be created by crafters who have the required traits researched.

That's fine. if a high level item is not made by a crafter but can be upgraded by a crafter it means crafters are still useful.

There is PvP oriented set bonuses. Purchasable for AP you can get a "less damage from players" armor set.

The reward of the dungeon would be the experience which will count as veteran ranks I suppose, the sights and sounds, the story and yes... I'm certain it's possible to find great gear that is unique in effect and look. There will be rewarding quests and sky shards... but the greatest reward will be to simply explore! Also, trials from adventure zones will no doubt have powerful rewards considering the difficulty.

There will be powerful items all over the place it's just that through crafting you'll have the ability to make an item ' as good as it can be ', and you'll enjoy lots of versatility when choosing what you want the item to do.

No pvp specific gear with a pvp stat is one of the best things this game ever did. There is still gear rewards for pvp, but there is no stat. And that is key.

Dont think that a good idea to put pvp gears in the game. That why most MMOs failed and becoming too unbalance!

pvp is such a double-edged sword in general. But yea, glad there's no pvp gear. Glad crafted gear can get so good also. If I want to just craft and pvp I should be able to.

No. There is no PvP stat like "resilience" from WOW or "expertise" from SWTOR. Stop misinforming.

It's not called resillience that's true, but it does give you less damage taken from players... if that's not a "PvP stat" I don't know what is...

Not sure if serious dude. There is no such stat in game, and if you don't provide a source, I'm not replying again.

Tbh I don't want to be finding it right now, but Phazius was streaming with it... just as an example. If you want to look through his vids on twitch feel free. Or you can take my word for it.

Sorry mate but that ain't no proof really. First time I hear about this so I find it highly unlikely. Is it possible that you are talking about one specific armor set?

Obviously it's a specific armor set, yes. It has a bonus that makes you take less damage from players.
