But I have important question to ask:
I was told that Wrye Bash now works better than ever with the newer Python 2.6.
For best results I am to uninstall Python 2.5 and related add-ons. Which made PYFFI stop working.
PYFFI is crucial tool for modded Oblivion.
Will there be a version working along Python 2.6 in foreseeable future?
Or is there one already? (hopefully) ?

Just uninstall and reinstall PyFFI. It works perfectly with Python 2.6.

PyFFI works fine with python 2.6 (updated a few months ago, think it was August but could have been September)... before I got involved in any of the coding - which I am now. Amorilia is currently making it work with Python 3x as well.
