PylonSwitch Bug

So this is a pretty annoying bug. Basically, I'm wiring my town with an "emergency mode" which will cause all the lights to flicker, 1 second on and 1 second off via an interval switch. I have large pylons running along the streets carrying the lines to my buildings. From the "power plans" (where all the generators are), I can see that the interval switch is working because all the pylon lights are flickering together. However, when I go to the actual building where the indoor lights should be flickering, they're all solid on, as if I were using basic pylons and no switches.

Turns out, if I walk far enough away from my interval switch so that it doesn't render anymore, it stops functioning as an interval switch and just sends straight power. This is incredibly annoying for trying to wire my town from a central hub with various terminals controlling the power, which was my goal. Increasing object fade resolves the issue (for the most part), but I shouldn't have to, tbh, but I can't say I have high hopes for a bug like this to be fixed.

Anyone else have the same issue?

Also idk if it was the same issue (I don't think so) but I can't get the delay on/off switches pylons to work right.
