Me too. I hope Bretons have changed a little bit, and hopefully nothing like Morrowind or Oblivion. I hope they have recorded all of their concept art before a Breton is officially released :teehee:

that new dunmer shot looks much more along the lines of what i hope to create, except maybe bulkier, and with long white hair, instead of a dark mohawk.

man, i am excited... im glad the races are looking so unique now, and the dunmer finally went back to looking gruff and dark, instead of smiling goofballs.

which races have we yet to see?

breton, altmer, imperial... i think thats it?

hopefully we get to see what they look like soon enough.

for now, i am really loving the dunmer... the others look really badass too, though.

I am really looking forward to getting my hands on that character generator. The Nord with the bow is my favorite so far. Seriously, excellent work Bethesda.

I like how in the race comparison, all of the races (excluding the Redguard, and maybe Argonian) go down a notch from Morrowind to Oblivion, then up two notches from Oblivion to Skyrim.

i really think im going to spend hours in the character creator this time... with all the extra options... face paint, scars, body types, making your character look covered in dirt, etc.

damn it... i was doing so well keeping my mind off of skyrim, but now im back to being excited.

every day is gonna feel like a week again.

Besides Bretons, I'm looking forward to seeing some Dremora. If the level of detail holds, they should look amazing.

The newest Dunmer shot resembles the Dunmer from Morrowind a lot, and I like it.

I'd so wish they would release the CC a month or so before the game ships.

The argonians look awesome to me. I never liked them very much, but this time they really look charismatic to me.

@Duderino you may want to add some of the journalists twitter pages to the OP.

Here is Maxwell McGee's (the Gamespot journalist who made an Orc named "Knuckleduster"): http://twitter.com/#!/MaxwellMcGee

Hah! I love your forum handle... pure gold!

I hope Bretons have changed a little too. In previous games, they just looked like lighter skinned Imperials with a tonsure. Not very "mystical" looking, to be quite honest... they looked more like old monks with a painted on six pack, or at least the males did. Hopefully, they'll have more elven features this time around.

I don't think that Bretons will look drastically different from Imperials. Maybe the ears, but nothing else, tbh.
Also, it's kinda strange that we got the 1UP screenshot, as it's not even posted on their site...

I think the second Dunmer screenshot depicts in some sense "what Dunmers should always have been". He looks as if the devs had forgotten the too smooth dark elves from Oblivion, had taken Morrowind's Dunmers and given them a face lift with the tools of modern-day graphics. :celebration:

The orc looks fine, but his skin looks a little too grey for me. Well, I suppose it's better than the Oblivion Orc's bright green that made them look like, well, plastic dolls.

The khajiits are absolutely awesome and beautiful. I have nothing to say about them but woaw !!! :goodjob:

The two human races dispalyed so far are great. Not my favourite ones but they irradiate strength and toughness, as they are supposed to.

The only ones that disappoint me a little are the Bosmers. I hope they aren't as tall as the other races. Well, the ones shown are in my opinion too robust and muscular, and they have got a too suntanned skin in my opinion. I hope that it'll be possible for me too make them more pale-skinned and more slim, while the traces of their cannibal legacy will have too be sought not in their (in my opinion, and from a Bosmer viewpoint) hypertrophic muscles but well in their facial general expression.

Now I am looking forward to see Imperials, Altmers and, my favourite ones, Bretons. Hopefully they'll be as awesome as what we've seen so far.

I had spent two hours creating my Breton mage in Oblivion, and was quite satisfied with the result.

Now I begin to fear that I won't be able to begin a real play-through before the late january 2012... Will have to try every single option, to make the most subtle adjustments... But anyway, the character creation seems already a lot deeper than what has been seen before, and allow for a lot more diversity. Big thumbs up and heartful thanks to all the artists who contributed to this wondrous tool.
