I am just curious if it actually turns my character into the various stalkers and dagoths that we know and love/hate in the game. This concept is unappealing to me, as my custom race has a carefully crafted aesthetic and I'd prefer all that not to be thrown out the window just because I wanted to go a more evil route for once.
I dont even think that's possible to change your race without forcing open racemenu in console.
Is it not possible to change appearance, though? Like a full-body, irremovable piece of clothing perhaps? I just remember a few clothing mods that came with hair, faces, etc.
Depends what sixth house mod you are getting if you are getting the one that is named sixth house you will not be transformed. However if you get the sixth house mod that is called great house dagoth you will transform in to the various types of ash creatures.
Great House Dagoth, personally is better though. It's more advanced in story-concepts and dialogue and more immersible aesthetically, regardless, it is the one that will change into you into the various ash creatures and Dagoths the further you climb the ranks.

Trade-off, then. I am enjoying Sixth House 2.03 so far. I can definitely see how it might seem 'simple'. But then, so are vanilla questlines so I can excuse it.

Hey, everyone has their personal tastes. lol. I am a many of intricacy, so, well, it is only fitting that I like GHD more.
Another follow-up, if I may. Is there a walkthrough somewhere?
I'm to find the flute of Agony in Moonmoth but I've turned the place up and down, killed everyone (to find it wasn't "on" anyone and reloaded), unlocked every chest, searched every crate, climbed the banisters, and can't find the bloody thing.
I got my mark next to the questgiver so it shouldn't bring me as much "pain" as it claims.
