Quest item bug: non quest item stuck in inventory.

I've posted this over in the general forum because I wasn't sure it was a bug, but now I think it is. So, long story short, I have a stack of Psycho in my inventory and the game seems to think it is a quest item--as in, the entire stack is a quest item. I can't use them, move them, sell them, or do anything with them. When it happened I was on a huge farming/scavenging kick and I collected a bunch of side-quests and just kept moving. I noticed the Psycho was marked at some point and just thought, 'well, I'll take care of it later'. I played for hours upon hours upon hours, at least twenty or so, acquiring multiple levels, countless materials and even building an entire settlement over at Egret in the process. The settlement alone took like ten hours. It's my fault, partly. I just left the Psycho in my inventory, among other things, and then when I finally went to sell it I found the game would not let me let go of a single syringe. I've thoroughly checked all of my quests, and not a single one involves Psycho that I can tell. I even looked up online if any quests in the entire game involve Psycho, but couldn't find anything. Now I'm afraid the game is going to start marking other things as quest items when they aren't. Don't know what to do. I suppose the difficult truth is that I'll have to lose a huge chunk of progress. At this point I don't think I'm willing to do that, though.

P.S. To clarify, there are 196 Psycho syringes permanently stuck in my inventory.

Hmm, if it's only one, that's not a big deal i guess!

Leave it in your inventory, it may become usable later on...

Oh, boy so many...that's not good. It may be a new glitch or something fancy happened with the game engine itself.

Haven't encountered yet, but i sell my Physcos anyway. Of course that's not an excuse...
