Quest markers, fast travel, etc

You guys do realise that six, Molag Bal's fun, swearing and sixual references are actually in the game, already? I don't see any problem with expanding on any of these, as long as it's done in a mature way. Really annoyed me how six in Fable 2 was just for lols. I mean, I'm not asking for a graphic six scene... I would actually be fine with something like Fable's system, without all the stupid jokes.

Crime and six related subjects can often add corruption and atmosphere to a game. I see no reason to disclude any of it.

Oh, and for an example of maturity, look at Daggerfall's nudity. It wasn't all "lol bewbz", like most games. They where usually there for a reason. Mannimarco's naked slaves, for example, where there to fullfill his lustful desires. Yet, there where no stupid sixual jokes made.

I can already see it now, trying to raise disposition.

Guard:"good day miss." *disposition 50*

Female PC: "So two mudcraps walk into a bar-"

Guard: "just stop it" *disposition 30*

Female PC: "You know I have a talent for athletics and acrobatics." *wink*

Guard: "wha..." *Disposition 200*

It was also for making children.

So that they could glitch out and become comatose and stuck in the wall of your house forever.

on the other hand, that's exactly the thought that pops into my head every time I see boobs in Daggerfall.

And why can't we include children in TES? To hell with "morals". If I wouldn't kill a child in a game, because of morals, I don't need to.

Well, the game didn't think so. <_<

It's not about whether one player would or wouldn't kill children in the game. Again, this problem relates to media/political scrutiny of the games industry around Oblivion's development time. The game would have come under intense attack if they were able to attach "graphic child murder simulator" to it, and it probably would have been banned outright. The alternative was just to make children invincible (which is the route they took in Fallout 3), but then they would have just come under the same criticism that essential NPCs did in Oblivion anyway. It was sort of a lose-lose-lose situation, so I imagine it wasn't worth the effort to them to make different head/body models, record new lines of dialogue, and implement schedules/scripting for all of them. Easier just to not include it. But since they did include kids in Fallout 3 and they've had a chance to test the idea of invincible children on the audience, I imagine they'll go that route again in the next Elder Scrolls game.

Well I know it really annoyed me that time I saw a kid with some clothes I wanted, I couldn't kill him for it.

I really don't see the problem. There is no "Graphic" violence in TES. Even Fallout wasn't "Graphic".

Though, tbh, I couln't care less, as long as I have access to developer tools. :)

Don't know if this has been mentioned but imho Lord of the Rings online has one of the best fast travel methods out of any game ever. You pay for and are able to rent a horse to take you to other cities.

I would not care if they made children invincible or essential or whatever in an upcoming TES game. I'd rather have invincible children than having no children at all.

If I'd like to kill some children, a mod could probably fix that quite easily.

If they are really annoying, I'll probably want to kill them. :P
I remember that I wanted to in FO3, they should show some respect for their elders.

first mod I downloaded for FO3 was killable kids

first kid who got it was the obnoxious one outside the super mart.

I honestly don't see the big deal with killing kids in video games.

a ) it's not a real kid, it's a cartoon
b ) kids are like half people and they don't really have any rights
c )if they can do it in a Clint Eastwood movie, they can get away with it in a video game

but... you know

Discussion of killing kids will get threads locked. Just a heads up.
