I'm trying to determine what would be an appropriate enchantment for an iron pauldron that would be rewarded to a level 10 character. I want something that will be useful and yet not unbalancing.

Also, what armor and weapons do you think would be appropriate for an enemy NPC warrior at level 10?

I have a pretty good idea but am interested in different suggestions.

The reward should be based on how difficult it was to obtain.
But the game has fewer Constant Effects, so I like to use them. Something small, like CE Armorer for 2 points, for example.

A lvl 10 NPC warrior should be using pretty basic stuff.
The rule I follow is, "Worry about the Weapon."
Meaning that they will probably have generic armor, but might be using a decent weapon or ring. The weapon is usually what will make the NPC dangerous or not, instead of the armor. (Unless it's high level)
When in doubt, check what vanilla NPCs are using, and go from there.
