What are the perks in Block that affect the the "Bow Bash"? I feel like only "Deadly Bash" does, but maybe someone could help me with this.

I've read before about some interaction between the two, but I couldn't find the topic that mentioned it, so I decided to make a new thread.

I've never tried a bow bash, but if you have 'bash', any bash, I would have thought it would work with any weapon, or anything that could be used as a weapon. If you have 'block' you can block with a bow or anything I think. I always use arrows, even if they are next to me.

Deadly bash works well with sheilds and two-handed weapons. Don't know about bows but I guess it falls under that category. I just use power shot to stagger opponents form a long range if im doing archery.

Maybe you're thinking of the note under the Block table on the wiki: http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Skyrim:Block ? This specifies which perks only apply to shields versus anything. I've bashed with bows before, it's kind of wimpy.

I don't believe you can block with a bow since pulling the left trigger bashes and the right trigger fires...using a controller of course.

Thanks for the reference. As for being wimpy, it's mostly for deflection and for buying a little extra time, but a little extra damage can be very helpful in the long run.
It's funny, though. The game considers the bow's bash in the block category. Every once in a while when using my bash, I'll gain a level in Block. That's why "Deadly Bash" affects the bow. I just wondered if any of the others, namely "Quick Reflexes", could affect the bash.

Both of the bashes work with a bow. The power bash and the deadly bash. I have also had the disarming bash work a couple of time, depending on the enemy one is fighting as not all can be disarmed.
