A question about cannon.

I sort of like the story in Fallout Tactics, are the major points/events considered cannon? Like the Midwestern brotherhood and what they're doing to survive? The only things I have a hard time believing is the jeeps/zeppelins.

On a side note, I think it's pretty fun. Not sure why everyone hated it.

i liked the game as well, i liked its combat system and the plot as well
the only problem it wasnt an RPG most of the game was liner shootouts that why most of us hated it.
(the more hardcoe players will probably find more reasons like how the BOS was portrayed etc...)

but in my opinion it had a good story (with better endings than FO3 "hundreds" of endings) but no most dont consider it cannon.

The major, high-level events are canon, some details are not. The existence of the Midwestern Brotherhood is acknowledged in Fallout 3.

I took that as more of a "shout out" to tactics than any real statement of cannon. I would agree we can take tactics as cannon in the areas it isn't contradicted, I suppose, but I would expect Bethesda cannon is FO1, 2 and 3 only, personally.

Actually, I bet Bethesda feels FO3 is essential cannon and even FO1 and 2 can be modified or partially exempted, if the need arises.
