I'm quite new to Creation Kit so I don't really understand how all things work.

It's not hard to change an NPC's appearance and I've been doing it for a while now. But there is something I still wonder: for example, if I only use Skyrim.esm as master to change an NPC's hair, will the esp contains only the change made to the hair? or it also contains other changes like NPC's stat, dialogue,etc,... too?

This makes me wonder because mods like Unofficial patches will have some fixes for the NPC that I want to change. I'm afraid if I change their appearance, I will lose the fixes to NPC from Unofficial patches.
