Question about CHIM

Does the old universe get destroyed?

Also, yes... living in Vehk's world doesn't sound pleasent. The friend killing isn't that bad, but it's the other things he'd do to you, your daughter, your dad, ect.

I see lot of similarities with Yokudan creation myth and this topic. Which seems to hint than old universe does continue to exist, but cycle of world eating ends... Or atleast remaining spirits are able to evade the part where they get eaten, and so nothing really changes.

Ofcourse it's possible that Yokuda got it wrong... Or that i got it wrong (!i'm drunk at the moment!), which wouldn't be too surprising as in Yokudan creation myth i constantly see Lorkhan as Ruptga and Alduin/Akatosh as Sep, which is totally wrong! I dunno does others see it in that way, but for me it's been right from first time i saw it and i don't seem to get over it. I blame that world eating thing.

Amaranth sounds like a Russian Doll puzzle. You live in a dream until you realise it's a dream and that you are both the dream and the dreamer (CHIM). Then you make a copy of the dream in your own head and start dreaming your own dream while still fully aware that you are dreaming a dream inside a dream where you know that you are both the dream and the dreamer. Then inside your dream someone realises that he is part of your dream and therefore you and achieves CHIM. This is Amaranth. He then copies what you created which was a copy of the universe you lived in and starts dreaming his own dream and the cycle continues.

Is that accurate?

I think is goes pretty much like that... But does Amaranth lead to actually waking, or atleast end of that dream? I believe it does lead into that.

Oh, and i think Amaranth is received only when ALL beings in your dream achieves CHIM (or some other walking way, such as mantling). Considering that there are Orcs (and Goblins?) and such less-sharp-beings it can take a while for Lorkhan to get into Amaranth.
