i have a imperial Pure Mage

and now i went to the college of winter hold and finished the quests there

i got myself the follower that you could get there (the dark elf magic student)

and she totally kicks my ass in doing Damage


is this related to her Race or is she just higher lvl?

cause i saw that Dark Elfs are good in Destruction.

Its down to her, not Dunmers in general. Dunmers are not great at magic in TES lore.

Generally, NPCs have a good damage output.

Npc spells can do more damage than your spells. Destruction skill level affects magicka cost not damage. Hence all the threads that rage about this.
