Question about gameplay... : V

So I am not sure if Skyrim will be at GDC or PAX East.

But people said game meetings are not necessary to show gameplay video.

So my question is: Does anyone of you guys found any sort of information or hidden clues about when we can expect a gameplay video? Please don't say :nope:

Is there any hope we will see gameplay video next month? :turned:

Just kidding. But in all seriousness, how are we supposed to know? We are not the developers or have anything to do with the marketing. I'm sure that a video will come soon enough. Besides, there are still 10 months (a little less) until the game is released.

Actually today is exactly 9 months.

But maybe you found some info in a far away place...

We know Skyrim will not be shown and GDC or PAX east. But Pete Hines said we can expect a gameplay video in a month with an "R". So either we are going to get it early this year or late this year. If we don't get them during the beginning of the year, we will most likely get one at E3. I expect to see something in March though.

Pete also said "in a good month" which implies late February/early March.

Todd Howard also said gameplay is "not too far off."

Unfortunately skyrim will not be at gdc or pax east.

In other words...we're screwed until e3. After pax east in mid march, e3 is the next big convention which is in early june.

Edit: its also not confirmed if skyrim will be at e3 either.

June does not have an R in it, so April at the latest. They're not going to wait until September, two months before the game is released, to show a gameplay video.

Its a bummer it will be shown at e3? That's a good thing! If it wasn't shown at e3 I would be disappointed big time.

If it's released at E3, then Peter Hines is a liar. He said a month with an R in it. June has no R. Therefore it cannot be released at E3.

Someone asked pete earlier today on twitter when we will see a trailer and he said, and I quote, "when its done".

So who knows when that will be.

Yes and they won't release a gampeplay video before the first official trailer (I'm not counting the announcement teaser). So that means if the trailer isn't done yet a gameplay video is even further away.

I don't think it's possible to say that with any real certainty. It make seem like a good guess, but that's all it is. A guess that they won't release one before the other.

Everything we know is based on speculation and misreading a few tweets. We really don't know and what I quoted was about as accurate as you are going to get on a factual basis..
