Question about having 2 Characters..

Post » Sat Dec 03, 2011 1:02 am

Hi, so my main question is if I have two characters, and I choose to play one for an extended period of time saving MANY times. Won't it kind of "push out" my previous saves on my second character slot?

I would suggest creating a new user profile to play. That way you don't even see your other saves.

I have two alternates on my PS3, both under different Users. It works great.

Use ~ to access the console, type in:
save CurlyBobJoe
If you do so every time to save for character CurlyBobJoe then you have 1 save slot per guy.
For PC players, obviously, the Numbered save system always annoyed me when playing on consoles.

If you are playing on pc you should be able to take your save files and stick them in another folder, so that there is no risk of accidentally overwriting it and you can just copy and paste it back into the original folder when you want to use it.

Ah, yes this wouldn't be a problem because it isn't an online game. Thanks, I am pretty sure it will work with my Xbox as well.

dno really
personally I was planning to just play on a different account when I want to start a new character
keeps the saves nice and seperate
dno if you can do that on all systems though (windows 7 probably could)
