Question about how much NV was liked.

two totally different types of games. so comparing the two games is kinda like comparing apples and organges, some people like apples and some people like oranges.

Like I said, you could argue the tiny differences until the universe ends, but they are essentially the same experience. There were new mechanics, but they were done poorly in my opinion like gambling and factions. Don't get me wrong, I love both games a great amount, but I prefer Fallout 3. Because at the time I played it, it was new to me and exciting, New Vegas was more of the same.

There is adequate combat, imo, you just arent being shot at when you walk out of sight to take a piss.

I found the wasteland to be lacking in action compared to FO3, which I disliked. To each his own.

The only thing I missed from Fallout 3 was the randomness of encounters. I could tell you the exact enemies you find on your way to Novac through Nipton.

Did it live up to its Fallout name? Yes.
Did it dissapoint the F3 sandbox-hungry crowd? Also yes.

Me, I was completely satisfied with it. Granted, it could use some more of the Bethesda exploration, but the writing, characters(companions especially) and general world - lore consistency makes up for it. For me at least. ;)

I think that the game overall was great for being fallout, although I felt it was extremely lacking in new content, It seemed to me they took the play area of fallout 3, gave it a desert scene and made up a new quest line. The game was extremely lacking in new in game content. The casinos are a nice touch, but I'm sure they could of thought of some more entertainment to throw in, such as a random event generator, wandering town to town on the extremely linear main quest line if you walked up on some unsuspecting bandits attempting to hold up the occasional traveler, and Why is it so hard to give us a quicker way to travel the wasteland? I'm sure somewhere out there is a motorcycle in a run down shred with some life in it, or I wouldn't be shocked to see someone on the back of a brhamin on his way to bet some caps. Oblivion has hours of content one could only dream of seeing in fallout new vegas. Hopefully some well needed DLC will help expand the arrid desert atmosphere, but one can only hope. As far as the game excellent new fallout game, but guys come one when do we get to wander NYC, and I can only supsect The empire state building would would a great place to run and gun down your old co workers turned feral. Hopefully the next fallout will give us the exploration and content that elder scrolls fans get to experience. The game was good overall, but just a made over fallout 3 lacking the exploration content in my opinion.

He's talking about the 2010 version, which I have to say was pretty damn amazing. I saw it on Christmas day, and it was awesome.

But, he fails because he doesn't know The Dude, and The Dude must abide.

If your saying that i fail i dont because i watched the movie. But if your refering to something else ok then. But i liked Mr.Labeouf he was awesome matt damon did great acting in that movie.
