Was looking over my user profile options and wondered if there is any way to ignore entire threads that are started by an individual, not just their posts but the entire thread they started? Or, since that does not seem to be possible, add it to the suggestion box?

Eh... Just block the user, when you go into his thread and you see that the OP is blocked then just exit the thread and don't return.

Is everything that happens here brought automatically to your attention??

Sure add your suggestion, if there's space to fit it in... That box is pretty full. And nobody dears show there face to collect it.
