Question about intelligence

Post » Mon Feb 16, 2009 7:15 pm

In F3, a high intelligence gave you more skill points to use..

I have 10 int in FNV but I still only get 15 points each time I level up.

Yet it says when choosing special at the start that a high int governs skill points.

I dont get it?

They reduced the amount of skills points you recieve to try balance the game more and making God character harder/impossible to achieve.

To be exact: You gain 0.5 skill points per intelligence point, making the educated perk worth 4 intelligence points!

Funny things about low intelligence: It changes dialogue grammmmeer into funny stuff.

"Do flowers of Pock-Lips and NCR bear play together?" :)

To a serious degree, actually. the number of skill Books has been seriously reduced. Perks no longer grant Skill increases. It is not possible to bring a PC to 10/100 SPECIAL/Skill status without Mods or the Console.

To be exact, it adds .5 assignable skill points per level to the base of 10, but you can only use any left over fraction every even level (there is no rounding up.)

That means with 1 INT you get 10 + .5 skill points at level 1 (but you can use only 10.) At level 2 you will get 11 to use. If you have an INT of 10 you will get 15 assignable Skill Points per level
