Question About Jumping

Post » Wed Mar 30, 2011 12:44 pm

I have read several times that acrobatics/athletics are being removed and you will push a button to sprint but when it comes to jump height answers are either nonexistent or vague. I have searched the forums but there is a ton of information to wade through and I just don't have the time. I was hoping someone could clarify whether or not you will still be able to jump ridiculously high even with the skill being removed. That ability was one of the best aspects of the game to me in conjunction with following people or movement around town and I consider it an integral part of the game. I did all this without ever making it a major skill so I refrained from jumping around constantly to level up more easily.

So is there an answer to this or has the specific information not be released yet?

You already answered the question yourself. They haven't said anything specific, so we don't know.

Nothing has been confirmed yet. There may be perks that allow you to jump higher but we don't know for sure.

I just hope it is not necessary to bunnyhop from Riften to Solitude just to level, lol.

Edit to add: Actually, I would like to see these type skills associated with one's choosen race.

For example, Khajiit, being more agile, should be able to jump higher than, say an Orc.

Thank you. I was worried that all of the articles I was reading emphasizing the sprint button meant it would more similar to mass effect when jumping was concerned.
