well, i like to check on every quest i do on the UESP wiki so i can avoid glitches when possible... from what i read, you could screw yourself over if you kill lurbuk and hern both before finishing "whispers in the dark" and getting the contracts after astrid tells you to while she thinks things over.

i did things the right way, only taking contracts from nazir when astrid told me to... i finished hern and lurbuk off, and my next quest for the DB is "the silence has been broken".

so, my question is... at this point in the DB story, is it safe for me to go after the rest of nazir's contracts, then continue the DB story without any problems? or am i going to be told to take more contracts from nazir during the questline?

basically, can i take the contracts for deekus, ma'randru-jo, anoriath, agnis, maluril, helvard, and safia right now, all without screwing anything up in the questline?

or should i avoid taking anymore contracts until a certain point?

incase anyone failed to read this post... MY NEXT QUEST IS "THE SILENCE HAS BEEN BROKEN"... so is that a safe point to take on the rest of nazir's contracts at my leisure?

But it's not safe to do quests antecipated. There are "un-known" bugs. But, of course, isn't dangerous. You can try. Just save it before.

you'd be surprised how many people dont read entire posts... i've had so many people respond in ways that make no sense for what i asked...

you say its not safe to do the rest of nazir's quests?

i just looked through the entire questline on UESP wiki, and it doesnt mention anything about being told to do anymore contracts for nazir during the story... so i dont see why it'd be unsafe...

anyway, i think you didnt read my post completely, or something... i'll wait until someone answers my question more clearly.

am wondering the same thing. i just finished Breach of Security and the last contracts i had from Nazir was Lurbuk and Hern. I think at this point, the main quests seems continuous so i feel like its a break of immersion if i just suddenly felt like taking simple contracts from Nazir while issues more important (main quest) are waiting.

am i going to miss any of the contracts if i wait until i finish everything in the main quest then go for Nazir when everything's clear? (getting the rest of the contracts from Nazir at the Dawnstar Sanctuary)

I haven't ran into any problems after finishing the contracts for Nazir. The rest of the DB played out without a hitch for me. So I'd say you're good to go

Not sure if it will be bugged for you or not. I waited until after the entire DB MQ to do Nazir's other quests.
