Question about NPC's

Post » Fri Nov 27, 2015 4:44 am

Hey Guys,

I just made this account today after watching the release for Fallout 4 as I have a question I can't seem to find the answer to, though it may already be answered in the trailer itself but wanted to get a kind of second opinion on it.

For reference:

In the beginning of the release presentation, where they show character generation, it is stated that you can play either male or female and that the child for the cut scene is created from the two (male & female) characters that you create. (the child in the crib when they book it to the vault)

My question:

Will this also apply to in game NPC's, in that will npc in the game either pair off or already paired off npc's have this option available to them. Possibly over a course of sometime.

NPC's is a possessive, NPCs is a plural. It's not that hard.

And I'm not even sure what are you asking. If NPCs can have babies? I doubt that. Not that it would add anything notable to the game.

Grammer Nazi? really? ok whatever.

Also it would actually have a very notable affect on the game in that if you built a town and the npc's were able to reproduce you could leave for a set amount / w.e time in game and come back to have it populated with children, then after a time with new npc's.

You would essentially have the possibility of a virtual bio-sphere. Out of the box. Without mods by modders.

I would say that would be something very notable to the game see'ing as you can construct cities and trade routes.

I don't have to be a "grammer" nazi to get eye cancer from reading what you produce. And clearly you have learning difficulties. Is that your excuse or are you just a lazy bum?

Seriously....

As for the "virtual biosphere", I'm not sure I would want to have something that's in a completely different time scale in the game. Unless the protagonist also ages, but that would time-limit the game.

Since the npc's looks are from the character creator, it would make sense that any kids would be a blending of the two.
Though if not, you could just assume everyone in the waste if unfaithful to their partner.
