I was wanting to know if I accept the quest will I get the item at the level I accepted the quest at or will it be at the level when I actually go do the quest and get the item?

I am level 21 and just opened the writ of sealing and started the forbidden legend quest but I want the gauldar bow and blade at max level.can I just wait till I'm lvl 36,go do the mission and then get a maxed weapon or am I locked in to the level 20 version?thanks for any and all replies.

I believe the item is locked the moment you enter the dungeon. So no, reading the note shouldn't have an effect on it.

Darn it!I accidentally walked in folgunthur to do the source of power quest before I knew that's where the gauldar blackblade was as well.I'm screwed on that one aren't I?

Perhaps not. If I remember correctly, that dungeon has multiple cells. Until you reach the cell with the sword then it'll be leveled to you. I could be completely wrong on that.
