Question about Shadow Warrior perk

Post » Sun Dec 11, 2011 4:07 am

Is this perk worth getting? I have almost 80 in sneaking and only done the right side of the sphere. Perks like Muffled Movement, Silence, Light Foot aren't really that great. What are your thoughts about Shadow Warrior? I'm kinda confused what i should do.

I have never gotten it to do anything useful. It will only let you get back into stealth if you hide hella far away from the enemies. Which you can do to get back into stealth anyways, shadow warrior just seems to make this a little easier.

Illusion and invisibility work much better.

The posters above are simply wrong. The perk is a must have if you play dagger user. What it does is that it gives you about 1 sec window to get a sneak attack in front of your opponent in the middle of combat. Takes some practice to get the timing down but with improved blade of woe+mehrunes razor+brotherhood gloves you will be one shotting pretty much everything. For some reason its harder to pull of against dragons but still doable. But stuff like deathlords, trolls, giants, mammoths and dragonpriests become very easy. Also its sometimes worth using quickly when you try to rush a mage from distance. Interrupts the annoying ice spam for a moment.

Isn't it easier when you go through dungeons, so you don't have to stealth the whole time right?

Yeah you can rush dungeons like that if you want. Just run in their face, then hit sneak and double attack. But like I said it takes a little practice to get the timing right.
