Question about Silver weapons

Post » Sun Oct 14, 2012 5:11 pm

Hi,

So we know that Silver weapons do extra damage to werewolves, and vampires (all undead, I think...) What I'm wondering is, if I were to enchant some silver bolts with, say, fire damage, would they do the extra damage as silver still? Or is that benefit lost once I put an enchantment on something? I'm really looking for an ultimate 'vampire killer' ammunition for my crossbow, and if I could even put just a couple of points of fire damage on a silver bolt, I'm pretty sure that it would chew through those blood svckers pretty fast.

Also, I realize that you can't normally enchant marksman ammunition, but I use MGSO 3.0 and one of the options is to allow me to enchant arrows (and presumably crossbow bolts as well).

In the CS, silver weapons are marked as such, so that the game knows to deal out extra damage to werewolves. So no, enchanting something has no effect on its status as a silver weapon.

Excellent.

Silver damage also does extra damage to vampires and other undead too though, right? Or am I just imagining things?
