Question about single player

So I have read the Brink Bible and all that but I have a question about single player. Is it pretty much multiplayer with bots and cut scenes?

Well that about sums it up yes. But you can campaign with friends and turn the bots off.

You got it, and multiplayer has cutscenes as well that hide the matchmaking

The singleplayer campaign will be the same as the multiplayer. You will only have bots fighting with/against you for the singleplayer.

Plus, I believe your character will be the squad leader for all cutscenes if you are offline, so you will get the most screen time.

Well I am getting this more for the multiplayer and am really excited because im sick of cod and recent shooters but this is really kind of a disappointment.. i hope there is like at least one Single player specific map at the end that helps bring closure to the game

There will not be a single-player specific map; the levels will be the same no matter what mode you're playing. It will be the same experience online or off.

Not sure its justified to name them bots :P Generally bots in mp games are less then optimal replacements for human players.

From what I've seen and heard the brink "bots" do fairly well.

the word bot just reminds me of those silly ones in tf2 that stand still until the match ends :P

From a recent interview we know that each map tells a coherent story and all missions can be played in any order without making no sense.

However, if played in the correct order, they will make more sense and take you through a complete story.
