Question about static placement in CS

Question: Is there any way to use the "snap to grid" function in the CS yet avoid that annoying flicker when textures overlap? I didn't used to have this problem - everything in the CS lined up just perfect at a setting of 15 - but now (not sure what changed other than a 6mo. modding hiatus due to WoW addiction :P) even on a setting of 5 I get the overlap by 1 point/pixel/whatever. If I line it up by hand it goes from a thin gap to overlap with one point/pixel/whatever.

Is this a setting somewhere in the CS, or am I stuck with it?

Thanks in advance.

A setting of 15 won't work since snap to grid only works with a power of 2. You need 16, 32, 64, 128, 256 etc. For most things large values like 128 and more are enough (can be quite annoying to work with a setting of 16 imo), some need smaller values like 64 or 32.

Ah, ok. That would explain why it's off by 1 - I'll give that a shot. Thanks!

UPDATE: A setting of 128 works like a charm - thanks Phitt!
